The web version of Diamond Digger Saga has 1,010 levels. All levels are divided into episodes, sometimes also called worlds. Each episode has a different design and a name. There is a total of 52 episodes.
The mobile version is going to continue with additional episodes and levels (currently 66 episodes with 1,220 levels). Since level 1,010, new episodes released only on mobiles contain 15 levels instead of 20.
The first episode contains 10 levels, the next four episodes contain 15 levels and the rest of episodes 20 levels each. This is the same level pattern as Bubble Witch 2 Saga.
At the end of each episode (starting with episode 3, Quartz Quarter), to progress to the next one, you have to get three tickets from your Facebook friends. You can also spend 9 gold, so that you pass immediately. Additionally, you can just wait three days to pass it (twenty-four hours for the mobile app), without doing anything else. If you complete the last level of the last episode before the release of a new episode, you can continue without the three keys.
